Sembawang God Of Wealth Temple

Sembawang God Of Wealth Temple was officially registered with the Registry of Societies on 5th February 1999. On 7th June 2001, the temple bid for a site at 28 Admiralty Street, and it was officially constructed in June 2004. The temple costed $3 million, covering an area of 20,000 square feet.

The construction was completed in 2006 and the first God of Wealth temple was opened officially on the 1st August 2006 in Singapore. The temple has the Largest God of Wealth statue locally. The God of Wealth statue is made of pure copper which stand on the roof top of the temple of 31 foot/9.44 metre and weighs 8290kg. 

The temple will hold once a year opening on God of Wealth’s Birthday for blessing devotee to worship the Largest Golden Statue of the God of Wealth on every 5th day of the Lunar Chinese New Year.

There is a chance where you can get close with the God of Wealth gilded. Devotees may walk three times around the Largest Golden Statue of the God of Wealth for an endless wealth of the whole year blessing.

Devotees also visit the temple to worship the Thousand Arms Goddess of Mercy, Tai Sui (Guardian God of the Year) and Tiger God (Guardian Tiger Spirit).

Today, this faithfully-maintained temple is regularly visited by its devotees, religiously-inclined tourists and all who nurture a keen interest in Taoism and Chinese culture.
